My name is Stan and Anthony Solomon was recently my realtor for the listing and sale of a house in Hacienda Heights, CA. I had made previous use of Mr. Solomon’s services as a Notary Public and had found him to be professional as well as genial in all aspects of our transactions. Those qualities plus his years of realtor experience in the area formed my decision to engage him as a realtor. The property Mr. Solomon listed for me had been neglected for a number of years and because I was living quite a distance from the property, I wanted to minimize the amount of work needed to upgrade it and just sell it “as is.” Using comparable sales data from the vicinity, his professional experience as well as input from a contractor skilled at residential renovations, Mr. Solomon convinced me that a relatively small amount of cash for improvement to the property would net a substantial return on the investment.
Mr. Solomon was helpful in shepherding the process of renovation, recommending a experienced contractor and engaging the contractor periodically to ensure that all aspects of the renovation were properly completed. At the completion of renovation, Mr. Solomon arranged for an open house that brought in almost 40 potential buyers. Following a number of offers, Mr. Solomon, based on his extensive real estate experience, guided me in selecting a buyer whose offer and financial situation would be most likely to qualify for the mortgage loan and thereby avoid a situation in which escrow might fall through well into the escrow process.
True to Mr. Solomon’s recommendation, the offer I accepted was more than seventy percent higher than what the estimated listing price for the residence would have been without the renovation work Mr. Solomon suggested. After I had accepted the offer, Mr. Solomon engaged with the escrow company and throughout the escrow process provided me with guidance in completing documentation, engaged with the buyer’s inspector, acted as an intermediary in addressing buyer’s requests for repairs or upgrades and kept me informed of progress. Throughout the process Mr. Solomon was highly professional as well as personable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Anthony Solomon for anyone requiring realtor services.
We recently purchased a condominium in Covina with Anthony Solomon working as our buyer's agent. This was complicated by the fact that we lived in Fate, Texas at the time. From start to finish Anthony ushered us through the process in a very thorough and gracious manner. While we were on a brief first visit to Covina, Anthony gave us
detailed and helpful information about the condo market and neighborhoods in the city. After this we felt oriented and informed enough to make a purchase decision from out of state. After we decided on one building, Anthony checked out four possibilities for us. Once we chose a unit, he made a video tour for us so we could see what we would be getting. Throughout the process we felt we could trust Anthony to act in our best interests, and our trust was entirely justified. We especially appreciated that he was successful in negotiating a later closing date, which saved us from having to take out an expensive bridge loan! Anthony is the epitome of everything you could want in a broker; he is well-connected, knowledgeable and professional. (In fact, he was able to get us an offer before we even listed our property.) His likeability is what you want in someone representing your home to others. There is an ease about the way in which he conducts himself even amidst all the stress that comes with negotiating such an important personal transaction. Anthony Solomon is the perfect balance between tough and charming. When you're making a big financial, personal and sometimes emotional decision, you want someone who will be a good listener, a strong negotiator and who is respected his/her peers.
